with Judge Randolph. We're pleased to be joined today by the Honorable Raymond Randolph, who

currently serves as a senior judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

He was appointed to the court in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush and assumed

senior status in 2008. Prior to joining the D.C. Circuit, Judge Randolph served in a variety

of roles in both government and private practice, including as Deputy U.S. Solicitor General and a special

counsel for the Committee on Standards and Official Conduct of the U.S.

House of Representatives.

He received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated first in his class,

and he served as a law clerk to Judge Henry Friendly on the United States Court of Appeals for

the Second Circuit.
