| 1:57.7 | This is part of a schedule of retreats that are being planned for climate leaders and activists. |
| 2:06.0 | Tignat Han was an environmental leader and activist for more than 50 years, |
| 2:12.0 | and he felt deeply around the need to help the environment |
| 2:17.7 | about recognizing to collapse the separation between us and the environment |
| 2:22.1 | and the importance of dealing with |
| 2:24.4 | our suffering so that we can deal with big issues like climate change and |
| 2:28.8 | social inequality. So Thai has been a great leader in this and I think now Plum Village is continuing that legacy by engaging, particularly with this community, at a critical time in sort of human and earth's evolution about a time of critical moment. |
