I don't like the word manifesto, but it gives them too much credence.

In situations like this, they're murderers. They're not shooters.

They're murderers.

It's a tough balance when it comes to these mass murders. I never say their names. That's one thing.

And I don't want to give these people attention, but it's a thing that happens, so you also have to cover it, right?

Someone finally released, well, someone took pictures of three pages of some writings that she left behind.

That's a better way to put it. I don't know if you call this a manifesto. I don't like the word manifesto either. That makes them too much of a mastermind.
