0:50.6	You know, if someone told you the abomination of desolation was the destruction of Jerusalem
0:59.0	and the Second Temple in 70 AD, what would you say?
1:05.0	What if someone told you that every event normally associated with the end times,
1:11.6	Christ's second coming, the tribulation, the resurrection of the dead,
1:15.6	the final judgment, oh, that's already happened.
1:19.6	In the case of the final judgment, that it's still in the process of being fulfilled,
1:24.6	and that Jesus returned to the earth was a spiritual return and not a physical
1:30.6	one. Would you know how to refute that? Or do you believe that it should be refuted? Or at least
1:37.7	say, well, what about the Bible says here and there? Could you do that? Do you know enough about
1:43.1	the prophecies and the Bible to be able to say,
1:47.0	no, that's not a scriptural teaching because of this, this, and this? Well, the belief is called
1:54.0	preterism. There are full preterists and there are partial preterist. But these are preterist beliefs and I come across this more
2:03.5	than you would think I know I think the the girl's name was Emily the ladies
2:09.1	name I should say on Friday that asked me about the preterism belief system
2:13.6	and I actually heard somebody teach on it recently as well and then I've had
2:20.2	occasionally when I'm out doing conferences and talking to people or I'll get emails about
