four imperatives which make up Paul's appeal. And the first of these is Welcome Onesimus. If your eyes are

welcome him as you would welcome me back in verse 13, Anesimus is said to have fulfilled the role of Phileiman to Paul,

And this is the verse that makes clear to us that Paul was used not only to see Onesimus become a follower of Jesus, but also to see Phileiman become a follower of Jesus.
