I'm delighted to have got Helen Thompson and John Norton with me today, as you'll have

heard last week, Helen has been reading Dermod McCulloch's book about the Reformation

and it's keen to talk about the echoes now from then. As we also discussed last time,

at the end of last year, John published 95 Theses about the new religion. We'll come

on to that of technology and we're going to try and tie these two things together. We're

going to make a link back to the Reformation but we're also going to talk about the Church

of Facebook. We'll get there, I hope. We're going to try. It's raining. It's not quite

biblical rain but it's not far off. This is what we know as my drip warning. If you

hear a pitter-patter, that's what it is. Helen, you touched on this a bit when we were

talking about some of our favourite books from last year and we'll start big and then

we'll try and zoom in on We'll get to Zuckerberg to coin a phrase from John from Goodenburg

to Zuckerberg. What are the big echoes that you see? When you read about the Reformation,

what gives you that kind of free song of wow, it could be now?
