I've been listening now for a few months, and this is all I listen to. I even go back and replay episodes. My daughter is now 16 months and still nursing strong with no end in sight. I remember very clearly the day we were going to be discharged, and I was day three postpartum, and the pediatrician came in to see us, and he told me that since her Billy Rubin was high, that I was going to have to formula feed, that I could not breastfeed her.

I broke down in absolute tears.

Three days into my breastfeeding journey, and he told me I couldn't do it.

A few moments later, the student nurses came in to me bawling my eyes out because of the doctor.

Luckily, they calm me down. They sent the IBCLC in to talk to me, and she told me I was going to keep going because my daughter was nursing strong.
