To the Moon by Percy Shelley

Art thou pale for weariness of climbing heaven and gazing on the earth, wandering companions

among the stars that have a different birth, and ever changing, I could joyless eye that

finds no object worth its constancy.

Yes, the Moon must by now be pale for weariness, not only climbing to the heaven each night,

but having to settle to reflect and never shine its own light.

I suppose we can relate, living our life of endless climbing and rarely shining, only

reflecting.

Well the theme of this guided audio meditation from John 1 is light, reflective light.

Light not of human origin, but divine.

Light not of your own creation, but light you reflect from heaven.

So to begin your meditation, slip into a time to reflect, a place to feel the warm light

of God and a moment to contemplate the glow of God, spirit and sun.

Start by listening and responding to this prayer from John 3 and respond softly, Lord

God, help me live to reflect the light of Christ.

The light has come into the world.
