I'm your host, Kosti Hin, and on today's episode, I want to offer some reflections on the

tongue.

Over the past 10 days, there's been quite a dust up online, and I was certainly in the

the mix with that situation, and I have been reflecting a ton on how to use the tongue,

how I might do a better job using my tongue, and how I might follow biblical steps.

I always want to be faithful to proclaim the truth, and most certainly always want to

be faithful to call out false teachers and to point out truth and rebuke error and

those who contradict what God's word says, and at the same time, I want to do my best

to preserve the bond of unity and to love the brethren and to honor Christ in the way

that I talk.

And I want to share some thoughts with you, really just personal ones, that I've been

reflecting on, this isn't to preach at you, it's really to preach at myself and together,

consider what the Bible says about how we use our tongue.

I want to be more committed than ever to speaking the truth in the right ways at the right

time.

And there's vivid imagery in James chapter three.

James says, let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such, we will

incur a stricter judgment.
