I'm Erin Kunkel.

And I'm Sarah Stone Street. We're so glad you're here.

Well, welcome back to the Strong Women podcast, and today Sarah and I are going to reflect on our interview with Rachel Gilson.

0:27.9

And we not only loved our conversation with her, we really loved her book, Born Again This Way.

0:34.5

And that's what we talked about with her in our conversation. And as Sarah and I

0:41.2

1:38.7

she struggled with same-sex attraction and has always been same-sex attracted, was not a believer in college

1:47.1

became a believer, and then her journey of basically learning about who God is and then who she is

1:53.3

in light of that. And you just connect with her in so many parts of the story because she's so

2:00.4

much talks about our own hearts,

2:02.8

our own desires, and how we can mold our hearts to point towards God and what he desires

2:11.3

for us and not just what we desire for ourselves. So that is where we thought we'd talk about

2:17.1

in this idea of our hearts, our desires,
