Hi, this is Spencer. I am once again standing by a field outside the house where

my parents lived and where yesterday my mother breathed her last. This time when

0:20.3

my brother called and said it looks like she doesn't have long to live. I

0:29.0

knew what I needed to do. I canceled all my work meetings through the rest of

0:35.8

mother died just now and we're at and today we took some time for ourselves. We

2:11.3

went out despite COVID to spend some time together not in the house because we

2:20.2

know that we have a big job ahead of us really to sort through everything that

2:29.6

they accumulated the things that were valuable to them that might be

2:35.2

valuable to us. The things that are just the remnants of an ordinary life to

2:42.6

sort through and say what is important? What is important emotionally? What is

2:47.9

important legally? And so here I am. I'm gonna take an extra day off of work to
