We are on the very border, the precipice of the fall. And as the summer wanes and as the fall begins,

Becky and I are reflecting on our summer. And we did a podcast earlier on our preparation

for a pretty significant, an unusual car trip.

We knew that we would be planning on several weeks of camping, hiking, fishing,

movement then to a very significant racial immersion conference that we would attend in Estes Park and then a week with

dear friends at a ranch in Colorado and then a return that was sort of our plan.

Well how was your summer honey?

I can't believe it's almost over. That's my first thought.

It was good.

It was really, really unusual, and it was sunny, so much sunshine.

And anyways, it was great.

But I'm sad that it's ending.

And I think one of the things that's so very important is for transitions to occur with intentionality, to occur with thought. And I think many times we have made, I have made the mistake of making a transition by simply changing my attire.

I think I went through the summer with maybe wearing long pants one or two times.

And so my tan marks from my chakas, the movement from summer attire to, oh yeah, teaching conferences, travel, shorts will not be my primary
