What's going to happen tonight? What's going to happen?

What's going to happen? We're going to whoop this. Welcome in the Diamond Vols, all's podcast on the Gold Laws-27. I'm Ben.com, I'm doing by Wes Rucker and Will Heflin on this

edition of the podcast, our first edition of the podcast in a week, this time last week, Tennessee was in the midst of winning its first

national championship. We are pressing record at about 845 eastern time on Monday evening evening so quite literally a week ago Tennessee was about to win its

first national championship it's been a busy seven days since traveling back from Omaha trying to keep up with everything that's

going on with the team just just all sorts of of things just trying to get get back into

everyday life after spending so much time in Omaha so we have a lot to discuss here on this edition of the podcast.

We are going to get to quite a bit.

I mean we have several topics to discuss in both

segments. We're going to reflect and think back to Tennessee winning the

National Championship and kind of what stands out to us. I need to talk about Tex A&M, Jim Sloshnago, Tony V's contract,

portal stuff that Tennessee's after and what we think Tennessee needs to accomplish in the portal.

Tennessee's had some behind the scene staff members move on from the program.

We have so much to discuss.

So Will West, I hope you all are doing well. Will, when you think back to last

Monday around this time, I would imagine maybe I can go up, I can go back and as you're speaking look at the time stamp but I would imagine

around this time last week Dylan dryling is probably hitting his two-run

Homer in the seventh inning and Hunter Inslee is coming up with his slide and that was kind of when it

started to sink in or at least it felt like it started to sink in amongst Tennessee fans

that were in attendance like hey Tennessee's about to win this whole

dad-gun thing.

And then a couple of innings later, kudos to A&M for fighting back, but Tennessee holds them all thanks
