How are you?

I'm fine.

We talked about the, you know how somebody is by the delay between the, how are you, and the, I'm fine. It's like, is that a serious question?

Is that just a, you know, you're supposed to say, fine, I'm great. It's a beautiful day,

except it's not. It's a really kind of ugly and cold day in Washington, D.C. And it is not,

in fact, New Year's Eve. Exactly. So a quick note to everyone who's listening, we are taping this on the 20th, but we're not going to play this until New Year's Eve. So if you are wondering why we're not covering something that happened between the 20th and New Year's Eve, that's the reason. So we'll catch you up in 2025. But right now we have a really great discussion that we're going to have about sort of where things are, think back over the past year. So Mary, we rarely have guests and we try and make sure it's somebody who's going to really add a lot to the conversation for our listeners.
