Hello, everybody, and welcome to Unspool's Real Confessions.

Yes, this is the show where we dim the lights and ask our guests to enter into

a cinematic confessional to bear their cinematic souls. We are not hitting them with trivia

questions. Oh no, no, no, no. These questions are harder. We're making them talk about the movies.

They love the movies. They hate the movies. They're embarrassed and they own. And the reasons

you might not want to sit next to them in a dark theater well you never know uh because today we have

one of my favorite people Nicole byer you of course know Nicole from Nailed It on Netflix you also know

her from her podcast newcomers and why won't you date me uh she is on one of my favorite shows, a grand crew, and she is always touring around this country doing stand-up, as well as performing with me in Dinosaur Improv.

Nicole, get into this confessional.

All right, Nicole, so we're just going to ask you a bunch of questions.

I want to start off with one, if you don't mind.

You have podcasts where you talk about dating.

I've known you in this world.

And I think that in my mind, when I was growing up, like, the idea of movies was like you would go there. And if you went there with like a date, you kind of make out. Have you ever made out in a movie theater? I simply haven't. No, I haven't either. Amy, have you made out in a movie? Yeah. Yeah. Really? What? Yeah. How have y'all not? Were you never in high school? I was in high school, but I simply didn't, I was not attractive to the opposite sex in high school. And my mother was a helicopter mom, so I only went to the movies with, like, girlfriends. And I guess I could have lied to her. But also, I'm watching a movie. Well, that's what I would get to. I remember one girl tried to make out with me. I was like, well, after the movie, we are here to see the movie. Right? Like, the movie took more importance than the makeout. I was like, yeah, well, this is, we got something going on here. I don't if y'all know this, but there's a lot of bad movies that are improved if you're not watching them. I guess. I, yeah, I've watched bad movies and still chosen not to make out. I remember one. I love them. I love them so much. But even now, if I get kissed during a movie, I pause it.

Yeah.

I agree. It's like, do you make out and cook?
