Not to be outdone though, Elgin Baylor on the other side, you may have forgotten this.

He went for 41 points and 22 rebounds and the loss.

All right, memory man, I think we talked about this a lot.

We're talking about all time greats about how the further we get away from them,

the like less we remember specifics.

And it's just kind of like, hey, this guy was really good at this.

Or we just paint this whole broad brush and Elgin Baylor is left out of a lot of these great conversations,

but because they didn't win enough and it's saying with Jerry West didn't win enough.

And it's not fair because we talk about these great fourth or these great game seven performances.

And obviously the Steph Curry game is what led me into looking up game seven performances.

Obviously, that's one we're probably going to remember for a long time,

even though it's just a first round series, it's set a record and it changed the way we feel about.

I think it's probably, I don't know if it's changed the way we feel about Steph Curry,

but it's kind of solidified something that I think has been happening for Steph.

The wild is he's having this late career kind of legacy redefinition.

Does that make sense?

I feel like the last season was as big for Steph Curry the way we were going to remember Steph Curry as just about anything.

And it's odd because it's normally not how it happens for players.
