Summary
Virtually every aspect of our lives is influenced by technology. It is all-encompassing, and yet there is relatively little written about how to honor Christ through our devices. The aim of this series on technology is to help Christians redeem the technology in their lives, and this introductory episode starts off the series by diving deep into the Christian theology of technology.

| 1:05.0 | I thank you for your patience as I took time off to research and prep, and I am very excited to dive into our new |
| 1:13.4 | topic. I've decided to spend the next several weeks discussing all things technology, which is |
| 1:21.3 | arguably the most requested topic. It comes in different forms. Parents asking me what to do with their kids and screens, |
| 1:30.3 | increasingly getting questions about AI, artificial intelligence, and all of its implications. |
| 1:36.1 | A lot of questions about social media, its usage. On and on I could go, but all under the |
| 1:42.6 | general umbrella of technology. But I will say in addition to these |
| 1:47.8 | reactionary requests that I receive, I am increasingly becoming convinced that this issue is the |
| 1:56.2 | cultural issue of our time that demands a more proactive Christian approach. It is so all-encompassing, |
| 2:06.2 | and yet there is so little Christian critique and wisdom available to us. So I'm not just doing this |
| 2:14.2 | because I get a lot of questions about it. I'm doing this because I think it is paramount in our day. Now, way back in 2019, early 2019, I recorded a similar series that some |
| 2:27.7 | of you may have listened to. But because of the nature of technology, that teaching is now |
| 2:32.6 | helplessly outdated. And I suspect the day will come |
| 2:36.7 | when I will need to revisit this series and update it according to whatever is on the horizon. |
