We've been looking at Galatians, the third chapter, for a couple of weeks now.

I want us to go there again.

Beginning in the seventh verse of the third chapter, Galatians 3.

Verse 7, he says, know you therefore that they which are of faith the same are the children

of Abraham. Let's read the next several

verses here. The scripture foreseeing that God

would justify the heathen

and he's talking about what we used to be. That was us.

Look at your neighbor to say former heathen.

Former heathen? Former heathen?

Don't you argue with them, either, because it's true.

Justify the heathen through faith preached before the gospel to Abraham.

Did you know Abraham heard the gospel?

The word gospel is thrown around too loosely.

Abraham, how could Abraham hear the gospel? Jesus wasn't coming for a long, long time.

Yeah, but he did. Gospel means the good news or the good message. He heard not just a good word. He heard the good message. What was the good message? In you

shall all nations be blessed.

The good news is about blessing.
