I'm Naomi Karavani in for Lee Camp this week. I hope everyone

enjoyed their war on Christmas. We have a great show for you coming up ahead. Lee Camp sits down and

talks with activist Ray Campbell who sued fracking companies trying to drill on his land. And oil companies

have in turn tried to silence him by throwing him in jail.

They talk about the impacts of fracking on communities and the earth. But before we go to that interview,

let's go over some recent stupid news. In Mobile Alabama, the police made a whoopsie, and a wanted

man was already in custody when police raided his former home and shot a woman inside.

If someone is outside of a jail, doesn't that make them a suspect anyways?

Thankfully, the woman who was shot does not have life-threatening injuries. Sure, they got the wrong address, and they didn't need

to be doing a raid at all, but the agents already had it in the calendar. They've been planning

this for weeks. They knew exactly what they were going to wear. They already had the address in the

Google Maps. So I totally get why they still did it. It's like wise men

and characters and romantic comedies always say, sometimes the thing you're looking for is right

in front of you. This is especially true in the case of Alaskan cities who have employed police

whose criminal wreckers should have prevented them from being hired.

Now the state board is working to ensure they meet basic hiring standards.

Basic hiring standards? I don't think that they should be doing that.
