So last year, the Trump administration banned transgender people from the military with a tweet, oddly enough.

But in our mainstream media actually did talk a lot about that, but it seems that they only get upset for the trans community when it comes to military.

So I was wondering if you could talk about the other ways that the trans community is discriminated against and how important it is to talk about it outside of just the military.

Definitely. So I think we do have to make sure, right, that we understand when President Trump tweeted about the military ban, right, for transgender people.

It was a signal to other industries and other workplaces, of course, that discrimination was okay.

Really, like a lot of what he's been doing while in office, it's really been a signal, been symbolic in a lot of ways,
