Here's a question from the inbox, Dear Pastor John, my name is Jeremy, a 30-year-old living

0:09.0

and working in Hollywood.

0:10.5

My question is about the Tower of Babel, where God confused their language as punishment.

0:15.3

Was this the beginning of all other ethnicities, separate from Israel?

0:19.3

I've always stumbled over the vast racial representation on Earth, stemming from just Adam

1:41.3

the genealogies, the whole chapter genealogies of Noah's children, then he says, these are

1:48.2

the clans of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, in their nations.

1:55.5

And from these, the nations, the families, the ethnicities spread abroad on the Earth

2:03.8

after the flood, as Genesis 1032.

2:07.2

So here he makes explicit that not just people in general, but nations, different nations,
