So what is the Academy offering

and what they're offering is,

transparently, just ever more extreme fantasies

in the kind of deluded hope that like,

well, if kind of the normy,

boilerplate, bog standard,

you know, milk toast socialism

that we kind of offered before,

or like, you know, deconstructionism

or whatever, kind of these, you know,

at this point, pretty, pretty tired,

like, 90s constructs that started to dominate the Academy.

If those are not like delivering the high anymore,

if those seem to be more or less useless

to giving people a grip on what's happening,

if those kind of fantasies and illusions

are just not powerful enough to withstand

disenchantment today,

well, then gosh darn it, we'll just create something that,

you know, we'll create a kind of dream framework

that is even more extreme,
