Summary

Now that it's been a week since the mid-term elections, there's enough data to talk about. However, the big takeaways are more likely lessons from the last few years than the last few days, and some reasons not to have the Red Wave Blues.

Hey everybody and welcome to T-Rex Arms. It has now been a week since the election, so now we can finally talk about it, because that's how long it takes to get some answers.

And there are still a whole bunch of different districts and some states that haven't got all of their votes tallied up and figured out yet.

0:19.0

So that's a thing now. It takes forever to figure out what happened

0:23.3

in an election. And the longer it takes to figure it out, the less confidence people actually have in

0:28.9

the process, the less confidence people have that they're ever actually going to figure out

0:33.5

what actually happened. But one of the things that did actually happen was the media

1:39.0

But of course, the truth is it's a lot more complicated than that. But if you are discouraged

1:43.7

that there wasn't

1:45.0

an immediate massive political turnaround, even in the face of all of the issues of the Biden

1:50.1

administration, I actually think that there's a couple of things that we need to examine. Political

1:55.6

commentator mentioned that if you are discouraged by some of these different things, then you're
