For the first time since 2015, the Yankees have swept a three-game series at Fenway.

They assume the outright lead in the American League wild card race after a six-to-three victory tonight.

You still feel good about your chances if you're in Yankee Stadium a week from Tuesday? 100%. 100%. We went there in 18. After we got beat here, and the sky was falling here in Boston, and everybody gave up on us and going into the air, and you saw what happened. So it doesn't matter. You know, we would love to play here. You know, if we make it, that walk our game. But there's a lot of guys in there that they've been very successful over there, too. You know, and the same way they came here and they played good baseball, we can do the same thing over there. I don't believe that for a second. Not for a second. And you know what, Alex Corr doesn't believe it for a second either. And this is one of the things that happened last night. One of the many that happened over the weekend that really bugged the crap out of me in case you couldn't tell. But we're going to start here. We'll open up the phone lines right away because you don't need me to tell you. The Red Sox had a very simple task over the weekend.

You really only had to win one game against the Yankees.

At a minimum one, and you were fine.

One game.

That's all it took.

One game out of three against a Yankees team that really isn't that good.

They have their moments, just like the Red Sox, too, but they're really not any better.
