I mean, you win ballgames when you score rounds, you know.

That's Sandra Bogart's obviously de facto Red Sox captain. I'll call him that anyway. I don't know if he officially has a title. I don't think he does. But he's talking about the play of the team thus far. And again, on paper, you look at it. We touched on this last night on the baseball hour, but it's where I want to begin again.

Matt McCarthy is here alongside, and you look at it on paper, and you say, oh, no big deal.

Toronto's 8 and 5, Yankees are 7 and 6, Tampa's 7 and 6.

The Red Sox are 6 and 7.

Everybody's kind of clustered right there.

And in fact, if the Red Sox have just won one more game in this series against the Blue Jays,

had they come back and won yesterday, the Yankees, Red Sox and Blue Jays would all be 7 and 6.

And you would say, well, no big deal.

And I think you can still say no big deal.
