Alex Verdugo ties it in the eighth and wins it in the 10th to snap Boston's four-game losing streak and get a much-needed victory against the division rival Yankees.

That was a big win on Saturday.

That was the big one, Mass.

Definitely.

And I just think those last two, I know it's only two games.

I know it's still ultimately it was only a split.

But those last two games should show the team, meaning the front office, that this isn't, it could be more than a bridge

year if you add the right pieces at the deadline. And just give them a little motivation to

support the team because the team is, if the Yankees are the best team in the AL and they are record

wise by far, you're not far behind them. And the games are always competitive.

And I don't think there's any reason to believe that if you got into a five game series,

seven game series, whatever it ends up being, that that wouldn't go the distance.

Because that's just sort of how these two teams play.
