Overall weekend, give me your assessment, Matt McCarthy. Go ahead. How did you feel? I felt okay. I mean, here's the thing. I obviously would feel a hell of a lot better if they won the series. But listen, they've got holes. They've got a lot of holes. I don't think anybody would deny that. But they also have a lot of really high-end talent. And I feel like that showed at times in this series, particularly game one. I thought Avaldi pitched well. I thought Whitlock pitched well. Bogart's endeavors having an impact in that game. The bullpen was surprisingly

good, Maz, but I just, I have a hard time seeing the bullpen being as good as it was this weekend.

It feels like they masked it, which, by the way, is a good thing, because they're going to have

to mask it, and they're going to have to win games like that.

So I feel okay about them coming out of the first series. I still feel like they're holes on this team, but we move forward. Good thing they weren't swept. So look, we all know the sport is a marathon. It's not a sprint. Let me tell you what I didn't like. when the Red Sox lost on opening day, then they lost again on Saturday.

I immediately heard and saw people say, well, they lost the first three to Baltimore last year and look what happened. They won 92 games. They get into the playoffs and make game six of the LCS. And I hate that sort of thinking because again, it's, so you're telling me that it's just like last year it's going to go the exact same way that you lose three in a row to start here you come out of the
