Red Sox yesterday.

I thought yesterday's Red Sox loss may have been the worst of the year.

Yeah.

Not that they played the worst, Murray, or I'm sure they have been more embarrassing games.

But in terms of where they are, the big picture of the team, who they were playing, who was on the mound, where they are in the standings, I thought yesterday might have been the worst loss of the year. It was a perfect storm of everything that could have went bad for this team when everyone was feeling good about them just a couple of nights ago. And then, you know, look, losses are going to happen a bad team. So even that 3-0 won the night prior, I was like, hey, it happens. That yesterday, the way you broke it down is perfect. Ryan Beow, who looks like their ace, turned into a complete pumpkin. And when he wasn't serving up three home runs to a AAA's lineup, he couldn't find the plate. We were watching it, you know, during the show yesterday as best we could. He was like, he hit a guy like in the ass. He was like a complete mental case. Did he hit a guy in the ass on a bounce? Yeah. Yeah. Like, well, like not even, not even the same zip code. Not only that, like the A's, we were watching, they tried to gift that game to them. There was four errors by Oakland in that game. It's their most embarrassing loss of the year, hands down. And it's just like, that's like a triple A lineup that Olkins putting out there.

And it just feels to me like with yesterday, you can't wait too much in one game out of 162, but I'm sorry, those two back to back and a series lost of that Oakland A's in all-time

terrible team, I think that takes some air out of the good feeling out of this with this team

over the last couple of weeks. No doubt about it. And, you know, one game in that sport, it's hard to do. But I thought that was kind of it. I mean, kind of a swing game. You take two out of three against Oakland. You say, you know, you should have sweep up, swept them. But okay, you know, train's still on the tracks. you're still rolling. Two out of three, bail once again, et cetera. Like, that's just sort of an easy narrative, and the team gets on the plane, and they feel this is still, we're still doing this thing. But to lose two or three to Oakland, first of all, to throw openers and bullpen games in the first two games, you won one of them. But the first two games are bullpen games. And then Bayo's on the mound.

It's been great.

And you lose two out of three.

When you're just, you're knocking at the door of the wild card.

And he's starting to look differently about this team and adding to this team and really being aggressive and feeling good about the direction.

And the Heinblum people taking victory laps. And it's like, you can't take two out of three in Oakland? That was a bad loss yesterday. That was a bad one. Yeah, left two for 11 with running and scoring position, too, against guys. Like, you know, you think that the Red Sox are nameless and faceless. Again, name and A hell is that team it's like they're there they're there are nothing to franchise that's going to be moved to Vegas and you lose that series in that game yesterday and what felt like kind of a no show and bayo turned into a pumpkin i think some of these splits too like i thought they were maybe you know this this might be they might be good you know look things did turn around these last couple of weeks, but that was kind of, I felt justified with that happening yesterday, as bad as it was, because I think that they are like fake good. It's all fools gold. It might be, that might be the case with Bayo, too. His splits, you know, he sucks in day games, Mike. He is really, his earn, run average in day games. Bayo's 725 and 319 batting average against.
