Over the weekend, Jean-Carno Stanton was traded to the New York Yankees, basically for pennies on the dollar.

You know who's pissed?

Obviously, the people of Miami, and they're pissed at Derek Jeter.

Yeah, because he played this poker awful.

Yep.

He just said, hey, we want to get rid of Junk Carl's stand. We'd like to do it before the trade deadline. So here's the four places he'll go. Hey, what do you got? What he got? What he got? Yep, yep, and we'll take nothing for him. We're not going to, you know, we're going to piss off all of our fans of the team, which there really aren't many.

But the ones that are fans of the team, you know, there was promises of getting back a decent player in return, and in return, what'd you get? You got a guy helping out his old team once again. Derek Jeter selling out the Marlins in order to get, screw once again the Miami Marlins.

Dodgers apparently were offering better prospects, but they wouldn't take on as much salary.

Yeah.

And so that was the difference.

All right.

So not everyone in New York is very excited about this.

There is a article out now that refers to it as,

forget Derek Jeter's blunder, Yankees will pay in the long run for the John Carlos Stanton deal.

And he talks about how John Carlos Stanton has been hurt several times during his career.

That's not something that is, I'm telling you anything that he doesn't know.

And there is concern based on his signing that they're going to have trouble keeping Judge

and that they're going to have trouble keeping Gary Sanchez. And then by then,

John Carlos Stanton will be 32. There's arguments that, and I talked about this last week, that, listen, I never said he wasn't going to the Yankees.

I said he wasn't going to the Cubs and he wasn't going to the Astros.
