So there was one comment by Nick Povetta last night that did bug the crap out of me. I might as well get this out of the way now. I forgot to mention this in the email exchange, so yell at me later. Nick Pervetta sat there after the game and said,

well, you know, I had to grind.

I had my C stuff. Dude, your whole career has been C stuff. Don't kid yourself. Okay, don't kid yourself. I had my C stuff. What's this? All of a sudden, Tiger Woods showing up for the Masters saying,

you know, I had my A game this week. Shut up. But just shut up. The whole point of this team is

that you're overachieving. That's the whole point. I had my C stuff. Dude, your whole career has been a Cus for crying out loud. What are you talking about? That one kind of went up my tailpipe completely. Now, that said? No, what else? Now, that was really the big one. No, come on. What else? You've got to have more. I know you have more. So I'll tell you what. That comment, I had my C stuff, did sort of make me sit there. And I had my initial reaction was, oh, you need to have a losing street. You need to lose a little because you're starting to think it's a little too easy. And that does. It bugs the crap out of me. Now, that's it. I love the team. I love what they've done this year. Do you really? Tell. Yeah. But I do start to worry that all of a sudden it's like it's getting a little too cocky. You know, you're still only up a game in the division. You haven't won anything yet. They're going to make the playoffs. I think we can all agree with that. But don't blow the division.

But that's crazy.

I should have checked this more closely. I think Tampa lost last night, right? So they picked up the game last night, but it's a game or a game and a half. it's right there because of what happened at the end of the first half.

So they gave away, you know, three, four games in the standings there in the final week of the first half. And it's going to be a grind. The rest of the way you don't want to play in that playing game. You've got to fight for the title. No, the division's definitely no given. But let me just ask you this because, you know, I do wonder whether or not you actually do like this team the way you say that you do. do you feel confident even when they're down like last night, four, three in the eighth or even
