I mean, you know you're a journalist, that's a little bit overblown.

Full throttle is the way I live my own life. It's my mantra.

I don't accept mediocrity. We as a group don't accept mediocrity.

I meant it in the context

of we are going to press all levers to be successful. Yes, we will have a core of young talent.

Yes, we will supplement that by trades and free agent. Yes, we will have a strong minor league system.

You know, one of the things I talked about to somebody in the front office last night, I won't say who he was.

I said, how many more games would we have won in 2023 if our defense had been average?

Just league average, not the top, not the worst, just league average.

He said nine or ten games.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if we had league average defense. I expect that our defense will improve with stronger coaching, stronger instruction, stronger leadership, just in that one category. So, you know, full throttle for me is let's go and let's prove to everybody that we can be excellent again.

I was thinking about that last night.
