spring season is just about to start. So practice begins in like two weeks and we had they actually had trials yesterday. So

about some sort of an invention or a list of inventions. What do you tell me? Yeah, this is from one of our favorites.

Ancient origins. They have a new article on there that was posted by Tara McEyzek and it's called the six advanced ancient inventions beyond modern understanding. I'm not going to go through all six here, but I will pick out

few ones that I think are interesting. The article says we've lost the secret to making some of history's most useful inventions. And for all of our ingenuity and discoveries are ancestors of thousands of years ago are still able to baffle us with their ingenuity and discoveries.

Now the first one that they talk about is called Greek fire. Have you ever heard of this? Yeah, it's part of Pope Eels pocket fisherman, right? This is like a no, no, no, no, Greek fire. It reminds me of a what is that game of thrones when they had that when they had that battle. So it's like napalm. Yeah, I kind of like that. It's a mysterious chemical weapon. It says the Byzantines of the seventh and 12th centuries hurled a mysterious substance at their enemies in naval battle. Now this liquid shot through either tubes or siphons burned in water.

And could only be extinguished with vinegar, sand or urine. We still don't know what this chemical weapon was, but it was known as Greek fire. Now the Byzantines guarded this secret jealousy, jealousy, ensuring I only a select few knew the secret.

And then eventually the knowledge was lost all together. So they don't know what this mysterious substance was, but it's written about throughout history that they were using this in naval battles. So it's kind of like, would you say it seems like it's kind of like a napalm. It's a tap a napalm.

Because I remember that the episode of Game of Thrones where they're using it. That's as far as we're going to go folks, no crazy spoiler. But yeah, I remember where they're using that.
