Chapter 14

0:03.5

The day felt like a whirlwind to Kit Baxter.

0:08.0

There were other travelers seeing the sights of Luxor, of course.

0:11.2

Most of the people in the crowds were either there to see the wonders, or to sell something

0:15.5

to the people seeing the wonders, but Kit didn't really notice any of them.

0:20.2

She was awe-struck at the enormity of her surroundings,

1:19.0

if only to stay away from his alter ego's all-gray color scheme. But today, he not only looked

1:26.0

different. He was different. Thousands of miles away from home, he not only looked different, he was different.

1:29.2

Thousands of miles away from home, he felt no need to put on the wealthy, foolish, pratt

1:34.4

attitude that served as his best disguise.

1:37.9

He was calm and in good spirits, and slightly in love with the sound of his own voice,

1:43.5

which was fine, because so was she.
