19th League title of course in 2019, just a point separated the Reds from the title

while under Brendan Rogers and Raphael Benitez 2014 and 2009 also goes down as close

shaves. Whilst all of those were two horse races in 2002 the picture was quite different. A year on from winning

the treble under Gerard Hulier, Liverpool sat on the cusp of finally delivering the big

one, embroiled in a classic title race with both Manchester United and eventual winners

Arsenal. I'm Guy Clark and welcome along to the Blood Red channel as we catch up

with a man who led the line for the Reds during those Julio years playing a key role in the treble win in 2001

as well as scoring on the night that Hulier returned from illness against Roma.
