Yes, Dave Bittles still on vacation. I would be here on Thursdays anyway, but I get it if the people are getting sick of me.

I brought in some serious reinforcements though today. The Dean of Ohio State recruiting Bill Curlick.

And the lovely and talented Mark Porter is here as well as we navigate a recruiting scene that has rejuvenated us.

Yesterday was a very big day for Ohio State on the recruiting front when we will not take for granted and will break down in detail.

We will also discuss Ohio State's attempt into the transfer portal and a bunch of other good stuff. Gentlemen, how are you?

All right, Bill. Yesterday was a huge day. Lucas Kindle's got it started. He is the South Dakota.

I always I never know South or North. I'm I'm always guessing Pierre South Dakota. Literally if you do a brief search on this fine gentleman.

He's got to be one of the most productive high school athletes in the country. I'm not saying South Dakota is the hotbed of athletics, but he is a three sport athlete and he is impressive.

He was a Washington commitment up until Ohio State gave the offer as they are want to do and go into the portal and go into the portal go into the recruiting scene and get a quarterback of their choice.

What does it mean? What do you think of him and maybe describe a little bit of how they got this done, Bill?

First of all, this question has come up a number of times. So we'll deal with it off the bat. He is not the first South Dakota player to sign when he signs with Ohio State.

A young man named Grant Schmitt a few years ago, a number of years ago, was from South Dakota offensive lineman. So Lincoln did not charter new ground there, but it's not as we know a fertile breeding ground for Ohio State, but we can go get a guy that's an athlete like Lincoln Kindle to get him.

I mean, he mentioned Van, he's a baseball star, he's a basketball star, and he's a football star. Because of that, he's not graduating early.

He's playing basketball right now.

And then he'll go on to baseball. And then he'll start his career at Ohio State, but you know, I had been doing a number of items and articles leading up to that commitment.

The Ohio State was out there to see him, Cory Dennis was out there last week, and that they were going to be seeing him Ryan Day and Cory Dennis on Wednesday, you know, it all made you think that a verbal equipment would be coming in person.

And that was the plan, but lo and behold, sometimes plans don't go exactly according to what you think and Ryan Day and Cory Dennis did not make it to South Dakota because they got hit by a snow storm. Imagine that in South Dakota, canceling those plans, but didn't change Lincoln's plans.

He announced his verbal equipment to Ohio State, did it a little uniquely in that he first announced his decommitment from Washington, and then within I would say about one minute or so, announced his commitment to the like eyes.

And high state really does have a great athlete on high summer high state fans, wonder about getting back to a more running style quarterback, then say CJ Stroud, or maybe Kyle record will be Devon Brown can run some Lincoln Kindholz can run some.
