Dr. Dauphinais serves as the Fr. Matthew Lamb Professor of Catholic Theology and the co-director of the Aquinas Center for Theological Renewal at Ave Maria University, Ave Maria, Florida. He holds academic degrees from Duke University and the University of Notre Dame. Among his works are his co-authored Knowing the Love of Christ: An Introduction to the Theology of Thomas Aquinas and his newly co-authored book Wisdom from the Word: Biblical Answers to Ten Questions about Catholicism (published by Word on Fire Academic). He has authored and co-edited numerous scholarly articles and books in the areas of Thomas Aquinas, the Bible, and the renewal of Catholic theology. He enjoys speaking and teaching about C.S. Lewis, the Bible, and anything on Aquinas. A grateful revert to the Catholic Church, he has been married to his beloved wife Nancy for almost thirty years.

0:39.5	especially like joint ventures. It's like a who's who of Catholic theology in America just to
0:45.2	see the various curated volumes published by, you know, COA Press and Sapienza Press to which you have
0:49.9	contributed and Father Lamb and Matthew Levering and others besides, which is edifying and
0:54.7	encouraging.
0:55.7	But for those who don't know you, would you just say who you are, what you do, where
0:59.0	you live, what's good in life?
1:00.7	So I am a revert to the faith.
1:04.5	I came back to my Catholic and Christian faith in college, first in evangelical Protestantism and then came back to
1:12.0	the Catholic Church at the end of my college time. I ended up studying theology, first at Duke
1:19.7	Divinity School of all places where I'd done an undergraduate major in engineering, and then at the
1:24.2	University of Notre Dame, taught at University of St. Thomas in St. Paul,
1:31.0	Minnesota. So I lived in one of the coldest places in the United States, and then eventually went to Ave Maria College in Michigan and now have been teaching with Ave Maria University in Florida
1:37.4	for 30 years, or also 20 years, not 30, 20 years. And I've, throughout that time, I've been both worked in administration,
