0:00.0	It is Election Eve. Here on the beat as well, I'm Ari Melboro. We have special coverage for you tonight with campaign guru James Carville kicking off the show. We have the music. You hear that. We've got the legend right there, getting ready, always dressed for television. I'll see you in a second, James. And we have the final numbers heading into this election day. Democrats are catching up to Republicans in one measure voter enthusiasm. That's from the final
0:21.6	NBC poll. It closes a nine-point gap as we see strong interest across both parties. The fact is,
0:29.6	the 22 midterms now have surging turnout. On election, even the last midterms, the energized 2018
0:35.6	referendum on Trump. There was a record-breaking turnout of 38 million
0:38.9	early votes. That is now topped by this final pre-election set of numbers, over 42 million
0:45.2	people already voting. These are the early vote numbers. 38 million was the record, with
0:51.1	4 million more. The new record is 42 million. That is more M's, to quote the new
0:56.9	Drake album. Candidates are hoping the turnout surge will help them avoid losses or L's. As 21 Savage
