When I meet kids and grownups who listen to Grim, Grimm, or Grimmist, one of the first

0:44.6

questions I get asked is, how do you do those recordings? Where do you do those recordings?

0:49.5

And then the third question, or sometimes a second and even sometimes the first, is,

1:34.1

And then I go to another school the next day.

1:36.5

If I've been in Brooklyn on Wednesday, for example, I'll go to Staten Island on Thursday, record the same two stories.

1:42.3

That way we've got two recordings with two different groups

1:45.3

of kids for every story. And then when I come home to edit them, I can choose, you know, my favorite

1:50.5

moments from each recording and blend them together to make the episode. And that's how we'll make

1:55.2

10 episodes of a season. Now, during the pandemic, it was a little different. I was recording

them from home because
