Steve and I, over many years, taught a class on marriage and family at the Seattle School

theology and psychology.

And we have been over a decade fishing partners.

We will not describe or tell you where we fish in Montana.

But nonetheless, Steve, to have you on this podcast is a great pleasure.

And you have written a phenomenally excellent book on marriage that I want people to know.

It's called Reconnect, Steve Call, insights and tools for cultivating meaningful connection

in your marriage.

And I had the immense privilege of writing the forward.

So, Steve, thank you for coming. coming and also let's jump in to ask a pretty obvious

question. There are many, many books on marriage, two of which Trimper and I have written.

This book is staggering in both its simplicity, its depth and goodness.
