Hello friends, happy Monday. I hope your weekend treated you well. Today we are catching up.

I'll share with you what's going on behind the scenes as well as a preview

into what to expect on the podcast this week. So grab yourself a coffee or a cup of tea

and let's chat. Starting with today's rosebud and thorn. My rose today is honestly that this weekend

was one of those rare ones where I just felt like everything was perfect. Friday, my husband and I

went on a date. We got coffee and we went to a movie. We went to see the movie Nope. It was

so good. And then we got pizza to go from our favorite pizza place and just ate it at home and

had a really nice night in. On Saturday I did work around the house and felt like I got all of my

lingering chores done, which is very satisfying. And on Sunday we played tennis, I baked bread and

then rested for the rest of the day. I even finished the book I was reading and got so swept

up into the story that I lost track of reality for a minute, which is a really fun feeling.

My thorn is that I am getting ready to record my audiobook this week, which is exciting,

but I'm doing it in a recording studio and it's just something I've never done before and I have

no idea what to expect. Is there going to be coffee? Do we get a lunch break? Should I pack

enough water for the entire day? Inquiring lines want to know and Google doesn't have answers for

me. I keep googling will there be coffee at my recording studio? And no one has any answers.

My butt is that I am recording my audiobook this week. I am nervous, but I'm also very, very excited.

I had a narrator for the last book. This book it felt like the right thing to do for me to record

it myself. I'm very excited about that. I really, really, really want to do it justice and I'm going

to give it my all. Okay, so what's going on behind the scenes over here? This week I'm being
