2026. Let's get into the mix. Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one,

All right, Jake, let's get into it. President Donald Trump addressed the nation last night talking about the ending of the conflict in Iran, but he did

not give a timeline, something that a lot of lawmakers and Americans across the country

were hoping for. Yes. And the problem here, Anna, is now markets are freaking out over this.

And by freaking out, I mean not up, down because people wanted a

timeline. Markets wanted a timeline. People wanted clarity. And Trump said, we're going to hit them

extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages

where they belong. That doesn't sound like a timeline or any sort of plan that markets or the global community

will grab onto and feel confidence about. So I think this is going to be, there's no end inside.

I mean, Trump said another couple of weeks, but it could be over the next couple of weeks that

this escalates and headlines around the world this morning, as I look for the newsletter,

indicate that that this work could get worse.

It could get more aggressive, more bloody over the next couple weeks.
