The sniper team is going to go out and set up an OP in the district center, like we told them not to.

They step on an IED.

Five, five, six of them are messed up, bad.

QRF goes out. They get blown up.

Vehicle down.

Second QRF goes out.

They freaking push past, hit another IED, and they're, you know, called us up. Like, hey, recon, you know, can you, you know, augment us? We were pissed off because we're getting ready to go home soon. When we got there, the first sergeant, he's like, he's staring off from the freaking no man's land, right, combat ineffective. He's like, hey, first arm, won't you get on the fucking truck? He's like, yeah, yeah, I'll get on the truck. We went and rescued guys. He marked over 30 IEDs to get to these guys, triaged them, and pulled them out there. The next day, or day after they did a memorial service for the Marine who died. That first sergeant, you know, that guy's got a freaking Bronze Star.

He's the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps.

He's got a Bronstar with a V from that deployment, and we put him on the truck.

Do you have a theory as to why even in combat fighting U.S. military units,
