Hey everybody, welcome to today's episode of The Watch.

It's Chris, no Angie today, so I had three separate guests on.

First I'm joined by Allison Herman to talk about John Mulaney's new Netflix special,

Kid Gorgeous at Radio City Music Hall, and then also to discuss a little bit of one of

my personal favorites.

And favorites for anybody who calls themselves a brand ski, the good fight on CBS All Access.

And then I was joined by Amanda Dobbins to talk about probably one of the revelations

of the TV year.

Basically the most underrated show of the year, if you ask me, it's Howard's End,

which is currently airing on stars or was airing on stars.

I believe it wrapped up its four episode run this past Sunday.

It's written by Kenneth Lonergan, who wrote Manchester by the sea, who wrote Margaret,

who wrote, you can count on me as an accomplished playwright, obviously.

So people might be familiar with his work stateside, but he wrote this adaptation

of EM Forester's classic novel Howard's End.

And it starts Haley Atwell, who you may have seen as Agent Carter and some of the

Avengers stuff, Captain America stuff, and also in Be Right Back, the Black Mirror episode.

Guys, this show is an absolute miracle.

I can't recommend it more highly.
