Last Friday was the one-year anniversary of the Google walkout in which 20,000 employees and contractors protested the company's handling of a range of issues.

Pretty good, thanks. So you've been covering this. You've been writing a lot about tech and activism and labor.

So let's focus first on the Google walkout. After it was done, did Google employees get the changes they were asking for?

Well, in some ways, yes. I mean, they got their first major demand, which was to end forest arbitration.

So that means that Google employees can now take their employer to court if, let's say, you're a Google worker and you're sexually harassed by your manager on the job.
