If you're anything like me, you've been looking at the culture wars over the last three, four,

five years or more, and if you're anything like me, you're probably saying, what the heck is

happening to my country? I don't understand any of this anymore, except through a biblical worldview.

And this is why it's so important to preach the full counsel of God, right?

Many preachers and pastors today, such as Andy Stanley, have become sort of infamous for unhitching themselves from the Old Testament.

That's actually a line from Andy Stanley from about 12 years ago.

He told his church, we have to unhitch ourselves from the Old Testament, end quote, direct quote. What happens when you do that

when you unhitch yourself from the Old Testament? When you start your gospel in Matthew 1 instead of

Genesis 1, the full counsel, well then things get really warped and weird. They get all perverted.

Our understanding of these issues is not big

enough. It's not a big boy gospel. It's a myopic truncated little gospel created in our own

image. So we can, I don't know, keep our 501c3 statuses or something. And what we tolerate, we will accept.

What we accept, we will celebrate, and what we celebrate we will eventually participate in.

And so goes that trajectory on almost every issue over the last 80 years in the sexual revolution,

the secular moral revolution,

what the cultural Marxists have done,

from homosexuality to abortion, to transgenderism,

to parental rights, to children's rights,

to same-sex marriage.

On every issue, we've moved from tolerance

to acceptance, to celebration, to participation.
