Hello, everyone, and welcome to this peak prosperity podcast.

Today we're going to be talking about a really big topic, maybe two topics, but the big one is digital IDs. We all know they're coming and we know that the system sees us in ways that perhaps we're not all comfortable with, but what can you do about it and how can we possibly get ourselves prepared for life under a digital ID.

To talk with us about that today is the founder and CEO of a company called Above Phone.

Yes, perfect. Chris, great to be here with you.

It's so good to be here with you. And of course, you know, we met each other in the first time at the Peak Prosperity Summit in New Hampshire. And it's just been a great relationship so far. And I want to talk about what you can offer to people in terms of this. But let's start here. I feel like there's an inevitability to this sort of digital surveillance state. In fact, I don't even know how powerful it is. But I have hints at it because we've all had the experience of just mentioning something to our partner and then seeing an ad show up on our phone. We've had the experience of noticing that if we're on X like I am all the time that if you get over a certain target, you get swarmed by bots who really have you dialed in. And their whole goal, as far as I can tell, is to distract, anger, engage, you know, comment slide, whatever.

Their job is just sort of muddy the waters and get you off the topic, right?

So just a couple of examples. So let's start there. Like, how surveilled is the average person

who has a smartphone and a computer? They're unbelievably surveilled. And it goes past what the great

thinkers like George Orwell could have predicted in his book, 1984.

I don't think he predicted that they would start reading our brainwaves, but that's the new frontier we're approaching.

So when it comes to surveillance, we could get into that.

And so I have been following online privacy and surveillance for the past five years.

I kind of made it my mission after stewarding a platform for alternative thinkers.

And I had all this data in front of me.

And I was like, wow, this is very valuable.
