And just as she was praying, I had this picture of him stood on a bridge very vividly about to jump and end his life, but couldn't ignore it, you know, like heart beating, God really prompting me to share it. And his eyes popped open and filled with tears. And he looked at me and he looked at Libby and he said how do you know well welcome

my new guest this week is called jodi linton welcome jody hello good here. It's so good. And what's a bit weird is that

Jody is our lodger, so we're actually in the same house right now, but more than Lodger, she is a

great buddy. Her story, which we're about to hear more about in very brief, she doesn't want to be

sort of pigeonholed as this, but she was a pro footballer, retired very young and has had a remarkable

amount of exciting dynamic stuff packed into her 25 odd years. Quite odd years, aren't they?

So anyway, Jody, let's just get cracking straight away. It's so good to have you and you are a gift to our family.

We love living with you. Interesting enough, I didn't tell you this, but I was chatting to Grace

our 13 year old the other day and we're talking about being an encouragement to others.

And I said, who's your most encouraging friend? And she said, Jody.

So you're her big number one encouraging friend.

So we just, we love that.

Anyway, Jody, look, let's just get cracking.

And, you know, looking back at your, get a bit of context in terms of your upbringing.

So, you know, you're getting into your teens, I'm guessing, is that where

sort of rebelliousness and stuff kicked in? Tell us a bit of that about that. Yeah, I mean,

I found myself in a gang of friends that we loved causing trouble. And it was very accessible.

Trouble was very accessible where we lived. and so commonly I had a great group of

friends but you could often find me out and about setting fires to bins, running away from

knocking on doors or causing a bit of trouble. We're familiar with that in our house. I hope that

wasn't your influence. We've been in trouble.
