marked the day by interrupting Senate business to draw

attention to what he sees as a moment of national crisis. He started speaking in the 7 p.m. hour,

Meanwhile, recession fears are growing. Goldman Sachs now says there's a 35% chance that the U.S. falls into recession later this year. Well, the chief economist at Moody's puts the probability

that happens at 40%. At the start of 2025, it was just 15. It comes with the news. The S&P had its worst month

since 2022, even though it did close up for the day. All of this comes as the president's

sweeping tariff plan is set to go into effect. Our own Garrett Hayk has more on that.
