all the moves from the first week of free agency. But it's been like a busy day around the NFL.

If you're an Eagles fan, I get it. You're like a little impatient right now. They haven't signed a single player as we're recording this.

Yeah, I think this was to be expected.

Like, obviously there was a lot of talk about the push to sign Jalen Phillips,

but then if that didn't happen, I mean, there was a chance they were going to kind of walk away from this,

especially day one with nothing.

But I think there was always maybe a bit of a hope that Howie's got like an immediate plan B that he's going to turn to.

I assume he will eventually. It just may not be tonight, may not be tomorrow. It could be in a couple of days. But, you know, how he's always got something up his sleeve.

But, yeah, to lose four key starters already from a Super Bowl team.

And what are we?

It's tough to stomach, I guess, a little bit. Yeah. So let's, we'll recap it. And then we'll go into these moves individually. So the players, the Eagles have lost so far. And remember, we're recording this. They might not be up to date by the time you listen. That's the nature of free agency. But Jalen Phillips gone, Nkobi Dean gone, Reed Blankenship gone, Jahan Dotson gone, probably some more players to follow them. But let's start with the big one. You mentioned it off the top. Jalen Phillips. We were hearing reports. There were whispers that the Eagles were really making

a push before this tampering window opened at noon on Monday to try to retain Jalen Phillips.

And, you know, all of last week were like, yeah, maybe it's $22, $23 million and the Eagles

will probably go that high. And then we hear the deal, four years, $120 million from the Carolina Panthers.

Mike, were you surprised about that number?

Yeah, I really thought like the Eagles could get there, like four for a hundred.

I feel like was probably their limit if I had to guess.
