On today's show, we're going to talk about some of the defensive performances from Sunday that caught our eye.

Update you on a few transactions that the Browns have made.

I'm joined by Jake Burns, and I welcome him in.

I'm okay. I am much like you are, as we record this at 6 o'clock at night. We were processing a pretty big trade from the Guardians and trying to understand why baseball is the way it is and why the guardians are the way they are and the optics look bad.

And we are reminded to be thankful for what the calves are doing, I guess.

That's the light sort of forming there in the Cleveland sports scene. Now, the probably be fine it is it is just a it's like you cancel your fan fest

make it a three-year thing and then you make this kind of trade I can kind of see it

from the money perspective but I know a player maybe not playing up to the Guardians

can't afford dead weight unlike the to the guardians can't afford dead weight.

Unlike the Browns, they can't afford dead weight of a contract, a guy not meeting what they're at.

They're looking for bargains everywhere, whereas the Browns are willing to overpay for, you know,

these sorts of things. And it's kind of like a cross comparison there to maybe like a Jerry Judy.

It's kind of like a similar contract in that regard it's not um a big trade but like uh sorry a big contract but it is

meaningful like 10 15 and then 23 million for a few years is huge money for the guardians like

they made that sort of contract happened for him after the lor trade when they thought, let's swing on

upside here. Maybe he's going to be a 30 home run middle infielder. Maybe we shipped him to short
